 Wednesday Bible Study

In His word, God has described the life of a believer as a race that we should run with patience. To help us run this race, God has recorded portions of the lives of various men and women in the bible whose faith was tried as our faith shall be. In our Wednesday evening bible studies, we examine the lives of these Bible heroes looking at their successes as well as their failures and extract from them what life application lessons we can take with us so that we are found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ, as stated in 1 Peter 1:7.

Sunday Morning Small Groups B.A.G. Meeting @ 9:45 a.m.

B.A.G. stands for Bible Application Group. It’s a group of three to six people that help one another apply what we are learning from the bible. Men meet with men, women meet with women and all members of the group are equal. There is no leader or teaching in the group, only a facilitator to help keep time and answer questions. We meet once a week for about an hour, review the life application lesson that was taught by the Pastor the previous week, and discuss using study questions such as “what examples can I follow, what promises I can enjoy, what prayers do I need to pray, and who will I share my learning with? We then ask each other life accountability question’s and share personal testimonies to help each other over come problem areas (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12) in our life that keep us out of God’s will. Finally we pray for one another, and pray for others who do not yet know about Jesus using verses from the bible about salvation. When your group reaches six people, we will encourage the formation of a new group.

B.A.G. helps people to comfort one another as God comforts us according to 1Corinthians 1:3-4

“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”

B.A.G. encourages us to help one another to maintain good works (Titus 3:8; 14), as we continue to be doers of the word as well as hearers. As we help each other to follow Christ, we learn how to teach others about B.A.G.

Sunday Service @ 10:45 a.m.

Our Sunday services are taught verse by verse to instruct believers how to obey God’s word through practical application and real life examples. We pray that by edifying believers through God’s word, they will become the living witnesses of Christ in the world. With this in mind, James 1:22-25 says that we should be doers of God’s Word and not hearers only. When we are hearers only we set ourselves up for failure since scripture says we will actually forget who we are as God’s children. When it comes to growing into spiritual maturity you have to Understand God’s Word, apply it to your life and then do it in the world.

 Foundational Truth Classes (as announced)

Believers are instructed in Hebrews 6:1-3 to know the foundations of Christianity in order to move on to Christian maturity. In our new member classes, we are cover in detail the seven foundational truths of the church listed in the book of Hebrews 6:1-3. We will show how these foundational truths have been taught in the entire tapestry of scripture from Genesis to Revelation
