- Love is………..Having one mind in the body of Christ………..Philippians 2:1-5
1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Thought for the week: Unity is a theme that flows throughout scripture. There is unity among the members of the trinity, and our Lord Jesus Christ has desired that there be unity in His Body, the Church. This can be accomplished when we all have the same mind, the mind of Christ. This means that we must seek what Christ sought to do while he walked the Earth as a man, caring for others and doing the will of His Father in heaven. Are you willing to trade your will for the will of your Father in Heaven and put others before yourself?
