- Let Love be your only debt……………….Romans 13:8-9
8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
Thought for the week: When we receive bills in the mail, we make sure they don’t go unpaid so we don’t face the consequences of not paying our bills (i.e. lights being turned off, phone being disconnected). But what about our love bill? Read verses 9&10 and consider the consequences of not paying this bill. Starting this week, make love one of the bills that you make sure gets paid. Remember, the world around you will be blessed for it, and the light of Christ will be glorified.
